A Great and Terrible Beauty concluded
I finished up this book on the train yesterday and ugh…I was left hanging. I didn’t realize it was part of a series so although I wasn’t initially impressed now I have to request the second book, Rebel Angels, from the library. I saw there is a 3rd book as well, The Sweet Far Thing, which I was actually interested in from reading the book cover at Borders. I did order it from the library awhile ago but didn’t have time to read it when it came in. So depending on how Rebel Angels is I may borrow it again.
I have to admit I’m a sucker for romance and that is one of the main reasons I wasn to read Rebel Angels. I want to see if Gemma ends up with Kartik. I was a little upset Pippa let herself die at the end of this book. It seemed like such a cop out. She says she is not a fighter but that is like saying if you’re not a fighter it’s ok to basically kill yourself and go live in your dream world.
I may have to re-read the last chapter or so because it seems like Felicity is back to normal and did not like being the power hungry friend. But I wonder if now there is a link to her that Circe can use.
