Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare movie?!

I just saw the news on Green Bean Teen Queen’s blog that Cassandra Clare confirmed her books got picked up for a movie. Read the details here.
I am so excited since I love this series. Now of course the question is release date and who will be cast! Who would you like to see in the movie?

I’d like to say that I’m excited…but being as how I haven’t gotten a chance to read the books..I’m not, lol. I’m more excited about actually getting copies of these books to read, and then…maybe…I’ll be excited, lol. I’m waiting for my best friend to finish them, and then he’s going to give them to me…cause he loves me

I was so excited when the news came out!!! Plus, City of Fallen Angels in coming in 2011 also! I hope the movie will be good. As for that cast, I’m not too sure yet. All those actors that the fans pick out don’t look like the characters to me. But I’m most excited as to what Magnus will look like.

As soon as I finish the last 30 pages of Catching Fire, I’m going to pick up City of Bones. I’m very excited. I ALWAYS say I won’t see the movie because I’m usually disappointed but I always end up in the theater.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love the oOrtal Instruments series!!!!! I literally screeched like a little girl when I read this!! I really would like to see Adam Lambert play Magnus Bane!!!

I hope they cast actors who are actually the age of the characters in the book. It really bothers me when there’s a 25 year old playing a teenager.

I just hope they cast people who can act. I was disappointed with some casting in YA books to movies.

Alex Pettyfer is exactly how i pictured him and hes also an increbile actor, not to mention super sexy

OMG!! Love the series! Way Better than twilight! If they make a movie ALEX PETTYFER=JACE!!!! He is just so awesome for the part I mean seriously he’s gorgoues!
