Description from Amazon.com: What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?
Samantha Kingston has it all: the world’s most crush-worthy boyfriend, three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High—from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life.
Instead, it turns out to be her last.
Then she gets a second chance. Seven chances, in fact. Reliving her last day during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death—and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.
I have to admit after reading through Sam’s day for the first time she and her friends really got on my nerves and I thought it was going to kill me to read about her last day 7 times. I thought it was going to be a bad version of that Supernatural episode where Dean has to relive the same day over and over and figure out how to keep Sam from dying. But then I got totally hooked and drawn in as Samantha tries to figure out what is going on and how she wants to try and change her day. I actually came to really like Sam as she wasn’t perfect but after each day you learn more and more about the kind of person she is inside and the types of things we do to fit in. Each day reveals a new layer of complexity to Sam and her friends and the affect their actions have on those around them. The ending is a total wow ending that will leave a huge impact on you.

When I saw a description of this book for the first time I thought it would be kind of like the movie Groundhog Day. But that didn’t seem so bad because I really like the movie. I’ve been seeing a lot of good reviews for this book, so I need to get my act together and add it to the wish list already.
