I don’t know what works so well for me exactly, but I find Stephanie Laurens’ books covers so beautiful, I’m actually thinking of giving historical romance a try! And I have yet to try Ally Carter’s books. As for Wicked Girls, I hadn’t heard of it before but I immediately added it to my wishlist, as witched and the Salem trials really interest me.

Stephanie Laurens is a good historical romance author but my favorites are Julie Garwood and Julia Quinn (definitely start with her Bridgerton family books). Johanna Lindsey also has some good ones.

Gotta say, I recieved Wicked Girls for review and I honestly can’t do it. It’s written entirely in prose and I just can’t immerse meself far enough into it to get anything out of it.
