I still have my Kindle 1 too, but it has started to freeze up from time to time, which has me worried. Do you ever wonder what they’ll roll out though in the next year or so? LOL. I keep thinking, “Nah…just wait one more year!”

I haven’t looked at the details on Amazon, but I’m very tempted so long as all my purchases would transfer to the new device. I take my Kindle 2 to the gym a lot and toss it from bag to bag. Just last week, I noticed that the plastic cover in one of the upper corners appears to be popping off, which isn’t good and is excuse enough to think about upgrading.

I went ahead and ordered my Kindle 3 this morning…I have Gen X Kindle and now it feels like a dinosaur…and on the new one you can keep books you have read separate from new books…I can’t do that on my original Kindle and it is so frustrating…I am giving my old one to my sister…so that is how I am justifying this…nothing is wrong with my old one and I have had it forever…

There is a website called M-Edge where you can buy neat accessories for all e readers…I have a bag just for my Kindle but I just saw a waterproof cover and much more…

I always debate if I should get a new one every time the price drops, a new version comes out or when the Nook came out. There are so many pluses for both the Kindle and the Nook but since my Kindle 1 still works fine I feel ad even considering getting a new reader.
