Waiting on Wednesday -Partials by Dan Wells
November 29th, 2011 by Debbie's World of Books
Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
My pick for this week is Partials by Dan Wells. It’s due out February 2012. I can’t believe I haven’t come across this one sooner. It sounds great.
Summary from Goodreads.com: The human race is all but extinct after a war with Partials—engineered organic beings identical to humans—has decimated the population. Reduced to tens of thousands by RM, a weaponized virus to which only a fraction of humanity is immune, the survivors in North America have huddled together on Long Island while the Partials have mysteriously retreated. The threat of the Partials is still imminent, but worse, no baby has been born immune to RM in more than a decade. Our time is running out.

The UF model is making the rounds again! I’m not a big reader of dystopic fiction though so I’ll probably pass on this one. I hope you get to read it soon though!
