February in Review
February was a pretty crazy month since I was on a 4 week sabbatical from work and was busy cleaning up our house, going to physical therapy after being rear ended and some other things going on in my personal life. So not much reading got done but it was a nice break. I’m dreading going back to work!
I also started my post-MLIS certificate program this semester and am signed up for two classes. They have been fun since they are covering social media in libraries so we have been talking about blogging, Twitter, etc. How much better can it get?
What I read:
12. Partials by Dan Wells-3.5 stars
13. Wings of the Wicked by Courtney Allison Moulton-3.5 stars
14. Hell Island by Matthew Reilly-3 stars
15. Everneath by Brodi Ashton-4.5 stars
16. Scarecrow Returns by Matthew Reilly-3.5 stars
17. Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout-3.5 stars
18. Scored by Lauren McLaughlin-3 stars
19. A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster-4.5 stars
20. The Capture of the Earl of Glencrae-4 stars
Everneath by Brodi Ashton was by far my favorite book of the month.
What was happening on my other blog, Adventures of the Non-Creative Mom:
- Making a stained glass “window” out of contact paper and colored tiles
- Escape the volcano shape game
What did I bake/cook that were family favorites?:
- Chocolate Chip Banana Mini Muffins
- Carmelized chicken
- Homemade hot dog buns
- Homemade baked chicken nuggets
- Donuts made from Pillsbury biscuits and homemade chocolate glaze
- Homemade honey wheat bread
- Chicken broccoli cheese casserole
- Homemade lemon diet Snapple

Looks like you had a pretty good February. Mine wasn’t as productive as I’d hoped it to be, at least where books where concerned, but I had other projects going at the same time, so I suppose I can’t complain too loudly.
Here’s to a great March for both of us!

Hope you’re feeling better! You sure got a lot accomplished and I do love the book items from Pinterest. Especially Reading Is Sexy. Wow!
